HOURS, ADMISSION, & ARRIVAL
Do I need to pay admission? Yes. Admission is required to enter the farm for activities like apple picking and pumpkin picking, and play!
Do I need to book or make a reservation? No! Just come. No booking or online reservation is needed or possible.
What are your hours? We’re open Thursday to Monday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with last entry at 4:00 PM. We are closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Are you open on holidays and PA Days? Yes! We’re open Labour Day, the entire Thanksgiving weekend, and all PA Days in September and October that fall within our season for family farm visits.
Is parking free? Yes! Parking is free—and so far, we’ve never reached parking lot capacity.
How long can we stay? As long as you like! There are no timed visits or time slots for your activities at the farm. In and out privileges are permitted. Just please head home when we close at 5:00 PM. 😊
What forms of payment do you accept? We accept cash, credit and debit cards.
What happens if it rains? We’re a rain-or-shine farm. Dress for the weather and come ready for a little farm adventure.
APPLE PICKING
Do you provide bags for apple picking? Yes. We provide bags specifically for apple picking that hold up to approximately 20 pounds of apples. They are $1 + HST.
Is there a minimum amount of apples I have to pick? No. Pick as much or as little as you like during your family farm visit. There is no minimum purchase.
Can I pick any apple variety I see? Please pick only the varieties currently recommended for picking. Different varieties ripen at different times, and Mother Nature decides when they're ready.
Why shouldn't I pick apples before they're ready? Underripe apples don't taste very good and may cause abdominal discomfort or diarrhea. More importantly, once an apple is picked, it can't continue ripening on the tree—so please leave it for another day.
Can I pick apples I'm not planning to buy? No. Please pick only what you intend to purchase. Every apple represents a year's worth of work, and once it's picked from the tree, we can't put it back.
Can we throw apples or climb the trees? No. Please don't throw apples, climb our trees, or damage branches. We want these trees producing apples for families for many years to come.
ACTIVITIES, ACCESSIBILITY & ANIMALS
When does the tractor wagon run? Our tractor wagon runs continuously throughout the day, and we're happy to take you for a ride anytime before 4:00 PM as part of our fall farm activities.
Is the farm wheelchair and stroller accessible? We have a wheelchair- and stroller-accessible wagon as well as a wheelchair-accessible washroom. Please remember that we are a working farm, so some outdoor areas naturally have grass, dirt, and uneven terrain.
Are there age or height restrictions on the activities? No! Our activities are open to all ages and stages. We do not have age or height limits.
Do I need to supervise my children? Yes. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Farms are wonderful places to explore, but they are also working environments with natural hazards.
Can I bring my dog? Yes! Dogs are welcome but must remain leashed and attached to their owner at all times. Please clean up after your dog.
WHAT CAN I BRING?
Can I bring a purse, bag, or backpack? Please bring only a small purse, fanny pack, or clear bag into the farm. Larger bags or purses, big diaper bags, and backpacks should be left at home or in your vehicle.
Can I bring outside food and a cooler? No. Outside food is not permitted. Baby bottles and limited baby food are excepted.
Can I bring a stroller or wagon? Yes, but please be aware these items are checked for contraband when entering and exiting the farm.
Can we have a picnic at the farm? No. Picnics are not permitted on the farm.
Can I smoke or vape? No. Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the farm.
Can I fly a drone or kite? No. Drones and kites are not permitted on the property.
PHOTOGRAPHY, EVENTS & FARM RULES
Can I take photos while I'm visiting? Absolutely! We love seeing families capture their memories at Fallbrook Farms.
Do professional photographers need a permit? Yes. Professional photography sessions require a photography permit, and a permit fee applies.
Do you host birthday parties, private parties, or weddings? Not at this time. We do not currently host parties or weddings.
Can we explore the natural areas of the farm? Of course—but please enjoy nature without disturbing it. Leave plants, wildlife, and natural areas as you found them.
What should we know about caring for the farm during our visit? Please don't litter, throw apples, climb or damage our trees, or disturb nature. Treat the farm, the animals, the crops, and the property with care.
ONE LAST THING...
Why do we have farm rules? We love our farm. We live here. We work really hard all year so that, for a few special weeks each fall, we can invite you to come enjoy it with us. We truly appreciate thoughtful and considerate guests who treat our farm like it's their home too.
Come have fun. Pick some apples. Make some memories at our fall farm activities.
The apples are just the souvenirs. 🍎
